Want to Travel Across Europe by Train?

Dreaming about exploring Europe, taking night trains, discovering new cultures and creating unforgettable memories?

There are two main ways you can experience DiscoverEU travel opportunities - independently through the official DiscoverEU competition or through DiscoverEU Inclusion Action projects organized by youth organizations and Erasmus+ partners.

Classic DiscoverEU

Classic DiscoverEU is the official European Union initiative for young people - usually 18-year-olds - who want to travel across Europe independently or with friends.

If selected during the official application round, participants receive a DiscoverEU travel pass and can explore Europe mainly by train.

This option is perfect for people who want freedom, independent travel and the full Interrail-style experience.

DiscoverEU Inclusion Action

DiscoverEU Inclusion Action is a special Erasmus+ initiative created for young people with fewer opportunities who may need additional support before or during international travel.

Instead of applying individually, participants usually join projects organized by youth organizations, NGOs or local groups.

Travel often happens in groups together with mentors, youth workers or project leaders, making the experience safer, more accessible and less stressful for first-time travelers.

Our organization from Poland, together with international Erasmus+ partners, organizes DiscoverEU Inclusion Action mobility projects that help young people experience Europe through supported group travel.
