The moment I took the first train of my Interrail trip, I was very nervous but very excited.
It was a night train, and I was ready to relax, but when I got to the next station, I saw a train on the track next to mine that was much faster and was supposed to be fully booked. I will never forget the adrenaline I felt when I got off my train, grabbed my backpack, and ran to the conductor to ask if I could board with my pass. He happened to speak my language and arranged a cabin for me!
I was extremely lucky, and I feel very grateful to this day. A perfect start to my Interrail, and I reached my next destination, enjoying a pizza for breakfast. I really liked how confident I became, all the places I discovered, and the friends I made. 10/10 experience.
