My DiscoverEU journey taught me far more than how to read a train timetable. I quickly learned practical travel hacks, like always downloading different maps in case there is no WiFi and never underestimating a portable charger. But not everything went so smoothly. I missed a connection in Poland, where I did not speak the language and the workers did not understand English, and for a moment I felt completely lost. Instead of panicking, I asked for help from other youngsters. That is when I discovered how kind and helpful people can be. Each country brought something new: different food, traditions, and ways of thinking. Talking with people from different cultures opened my mind and challenged my assumptions. DiscoverEU showed me how to adapt, connect, and grow. I did not just explore Europe, I learned how to navigate the world and myself with more confidence and empathy.
