We visited cities from Berlin to Venice, discovering new cultures, food and people. The biggest challenge happened in Barcelona when our hotel booking was suddenly cancelled. For a moment, it felt like everything had gone wrong and we had nowhere to stay. But instead of giving up, we stayed calm, worked together and found a solution in time. That experience taught me something I will remember for the rest of my life – there is always a way out of every difficult situation if you keep thinking, stay strong and do not panic.
During the journey, many strangers helped us despite language barriers, especially in Spain. Their kindness showed me that people across Europe are more connected than we think.
DiscoverEU was more than a trip. It gave me confidence, independence and memories that will stay with me forever.
