Travel Learn and Discover EU

Although many people think travelling is easy, my experience showed me otherwise. During my Erasmus in Romania, I learned that travel isn’t about having everything planned, but about accepting the unexpected. One moment that stayed with me the most was visiting the Rose Garden. I imagined it in full bloom, but when I arrived, the roses hadn’t blossomed yet. For a second, I felt disappointed. Then I stopped and looked around. The quiet river, the elegant benches, and the calm atmosphere made everything feel almost unreal, like a scene from a movie. Travelling by train also changed my perspective. Slow journeys forced me to pause, observe both beauty and imperfection, and truly be present. That experience taught me something simple but powerful: even when reality doesn’t match expectations, it can still be meaningful if you allow yourself to see it differently.
