Across Europe
Hi! My name is Gosia, and last year I participated in the DiscoverEU Inclusion Action programme. Together with a team of four, we travelled across Europe, from Poland to Spain.
During our 14-day journey, we visited eight countries, spent more than two days on trains, and went from being strangers to becoming friends. There are no words to describe how grateful I am for this experience.
I visited many beautiful places, created unforgettable memories, gained valuable knowledge, and broadened my perspective. This trip was an important milestone in my transition into adulthood. Planning and organising the entire journey, taking responsibility for it, and travelling so far from home without my parents helped me become more independent and confident.
I also learned a great deal about travelling, and I still use that knowledge in my everyday life. Thanks to this experience, I began to feel part of a much larger community — Europe as a whole. I realised how many opportunities we have to travel across Europe easily and how many possibilities for personal development are available to us thanks to the European Union.
This journey was much more than just a trip. It was an experience that changed my perspective and will stay with me for the rest of my life. I am certain that this experience will stay with me forever, and I will continue sharing its memories and lessons throughout my life.
