The group visited the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the Court of Justice in Luxembourg, and the European Commission and Council of the EU in Brussels.
These visits gave them a way to connect what they had heard about the EU with the places where it works. Between visits, they also had to find their way around, make decisions together and adjust to changes. On the way home, train delays became part of the experience too.
In their account, the group wrote about learning both how the EU works and how to take more responsibility themselves.
